This New York Marble kitchen in Hawkesbury showcases premium natural stone in a warm farmhouse-style home. Just Stone Aust supplied, fabricated and installed the stone for the kitchen benchtops, splashback and island.

The project combines natural marble, detailed craftsmanship and a soft honed finish. As a result, the kitchen feels refined, practical and connected to the home’s relaxed country setting.

New York Marble Kitchen with Honed Stone

The New York Marble kitchen features honed marble slabs with soft movement and natural veining. This finish gives the stone a smooth matte surface, which works beautifully in a busy kitchen.

In addition, the honed texture helps create a calm and natural look. It softens the overall design while still showing the depth and character of the marble.

Just Stone Aust worked from slab selection through to final installation. Therefore, every stage supported the final look, from the layout of each piece to the way the stone meets the joinery.

Marble Benchtops, Splashback and Island

For this New York Marble kitchen, our team crafted the benchtops, splashback and island cladding from carefully selected slabs. Each surface works together to create a seamless and balanced result.

The kitchen island features 40mm mitred edges, giving the stone a strong and refined profile. Meanwhile, the benchtops and splashback continue the same natural movement through the space.

Careful vein alignment helped create a smooth visual flow across the kitchen. As a result, the marble feels connected rather than broken into separate pieces.

CNC Profiling and Hand Polishing

This project required a high level of detail. Just Stone Aust used CNC profiling to shape the stone with accuracy. Then, our team completed hand polishing to refine the edges and finish.

This process helped the marble achieve both strength and beauty. It also ensured the edges, joins and surfaces met the needs of a high-use kitchen.
